Welcome to the Chatsworth website. The information contained here will only be visible to our residents out of respect for their privacy. Neverthless, let us tell you about our community:
"In the autumn of 2003, after my wife and I first drove through the gates of Chatsworth and turned left up the street, the thought struck me as we neared the top of the hill that perhaps we had wandered dreamlike into a kind of mythical Brigadoon---a lost village that came alive only once every 100 years.
We drove around Chatsworth and liked every square foot of the place, from the way it was laid out in a horseshoe, with its cul-de-sacs and common grounds, to its abundant trees and the old woods across the road, to its landscaped and well-tended yards and, finally, to the distinctive facades and feel of the homes themselves. We had been looking for a place to live for several discouraging months, and here, suddenly, we stepped into the house; we hadn't been in the place for 20 minutes when we reached the enormous master bedroom on the fourth floor and I turned to my wife and whispered, "Psst, how long have these people been living in our house?"
So that is how we came to be homeowners in Chatsworth, in our own quite real incarnation of Brigadoon.
We have lived in this community for more than seven years, and we have always felt a generous sense of caring, and no less a quality of sharing, from the hosts of gentlefolk whom we have met in our life as it has revolved, and evolved, around here. Why, even that herd of so-called wild deer, growing every year, has been imbued with the Unicorn spirit, sharing with each other all the sweet begonias and impatiens they can eat quite as fast as Carolyne and Norma Jean can get them in the ground. My wife and I have made many friends in these seven years, and we are grateful for them all---and for this lovely place that we now call home. We hope you share in our gratitude."
